In home theatre/audio system, we hire experts to setup our system like screen calibration, audio setup, room acoustics treatment, etc. Someone coming to your system spending hours or days improving your system and you pay up to $1500 for his job.

Since software plays very important part in computer audio for both sound quality and ease of use, how about we hire specialist to optimize our computer audio server instead of buying commercial server with platform optimizations? It can even be done remotely through today's technology.

Rather than just optimizing OS for better sound alone, there's a lot of people who want to enjoy music better but don't know how to archive the solution they want. So OS platform optimizations service will be something that can answer expectations of client's request like I want to stream Sound Cloud from my smartphone to audio systems and professional will setup the platform to meet their requirements remotely.

This way, they can transform any device they own to be an audiophile OS platform. If they have requirements like I use this for work too and want to keep system stable for work environment, they can adjust to meet their meets too.

It can also be something like I bought a new DAC X so please setup optimal sound quality platform with this DAC. Professional install driver remotely and configure settings to make his server sounding best in application he uses with that DAC. It can be applied to Windows/MacOS/Linux and everyone can use this kind of service easily.

I don't know anyone who try this idea yet. It's all about selling hardware with services so clients won't feel they get charged too much for services alone. But this might be an interesting idea though.
