I am in the process of re-installing my stereo in a dedicated listening room which has recently been repaired. I use ASC Tube Traps and Tower Slims, and I think the stereo sounds great in the room, but I have never plotted any frequency response chart or measured sound decay characteristics.

Before I put the stereo back in the room I would like to take a more professional and scientific approach to room analysis and to acoustic treatment.

Has anyone engaged Performance Acoustics Labs ("PAL") to analyze his/her listening room and to make specific acoustic treatment suggestions based on measured acoustic analysis of the room?

If not PAL is there an other science/measurement based firm you would recommend?

Thank you.

As I mentioned on that other forum:

PAL really doesn't exist any longer, in that Mike Latvis is now focused on his Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS). You should contact Nyal Mellor @ Acoustic Frontiers. He is up in the Bay Area, and by reports of folks on this forum (and others) is extremely competent.
