I came across this product and would like to hear from those more knowledgeable than me (quite a large group!) regarding claims, likely efficacy, and possible effect on audio system SQ. Any thoughts @Kingrex ?

Looks like a budget SPD for low voltage wiring. Eaton make a good SPD. If you want real surge protection, you need to spend about $2000.

You also want 3 levels of cascading protection. One in the main panel, one in a subpanel and one at the rack. Each level shaves more off a lightning strike.

Then there is transient noise from in your house. Little 40 volt jolts. You need a SPD designed for transients to clamp the small stuff. They have a smaller operating window.

Thank you, Rex, and a healthy, prosperous 2025 to you and your family!
