Check Dougdeacons' system over on Audiogon. He has the preamp It's a Nick Doshi I think.

Yup, its a Doshi. Surrpised he hasn't sold it, much coveted and uncommon on the used market.

They seem to carry a lot of nice gear there.

I took a page from electronluv with the mercury vapor rectifiers, and modified the power supply of my Allnic H 3000 phono preamp to use an RCA 83 mercury vapor rectifier. Sublime!

Where's Flash Gordon?

The plain looking Sira is still sexy looking.

The Sira is hand crafted using point-to-point wiring for its audio and power supply circuitry. Its chassis is constructed from thick brushed stainless steel and solid granadillo wood to provide a strong non-magnetic structure for its circuitry. The result is a superior sounding and elegant looking product.

yes, the gloss black finish is the new look. I do believe you can still get it in different finishes. I will have to ask Nick about that.

I saw it today, even nicer in person than in photos.

Saw the new amps too, sounded even better than they looked and they looked sweet.
