This is my first post in the forum. Really glad I found it. I have owned a pair of Genesis 350s for 25 years the last 14 or which they have been in storage. I am now setting up a new listening room in a second home and will be using these speakers in that setup. I have done an initial setup and everything is working properly. I did have to replace a couple of the base drivers as one had a faulty accelerometer and the other some friction in the movement. Fortunately, I had purchased spares just after putting these in storage so I had drivers ready to install. Now at Gary's suggestion I want to recap the Base Amp as a precaution. I have ordered 8 LLS1K103MELC caps based on posts I read in this forum (thanks). For people who have been down this path is there anything I should be aware of before I attempt this replacement? Was it relatively straight forward to identify the parts to be replaced and to disconnect / reconnect them? Is there any value in me capturing some photos along the way for others to have as a reference later? Thanks in advance.
