SAE "Reborn"......well.......kind of

Morris Kessler, who was one of the original owners of SAE, now owns ATI (Amplifier Technologies Inc.). He has re-acquired the SAE name and is re-labeling the ATI line and selling it in Europe under the SAE name. They choose to do so because ATI did not have a presence in Europe and obviously SAE is well known. At this time, ATI does not have any plans to market any SAE products in North America. Not saying things could change in the future though. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Here is the link to the German distributor so you can see all the SAE products. The product numbers are same as the ATI line.

select manufactures, then SAE

If you loved the old SAE, then check out Jim's SAE site - it's cool.

I am puzzled by the use of the old Museatex name and logo in this link.

My audio obession started over a decade ago by collecting SAE gear. I flew out to Montebello to meet Morris Kessler and pick up a pallet of NOS SAE gear. I had dinner with Jim while I was out there. I've also been friends with James Bongiorno for the same length of time. As my systems have gone more up scale over the years, my collecting of SAE gear has slowed. I do still have some around though both at home and work.

Very nice - I remember owning an integrated amp from SAE (U-shapped) and enjoyed it a lot with ADS speakers. cool stuff!
