Boy, this actually looks better than the last sequels. I know, not a high bar but uncharacteristic for Hollywood.
I did like the previous film as it put aside the "going back in time" plot, and also helped we finally had some of the concept very briefly shown in the original film with the terminators and large machines hunting down pockets of humanity.
I thought it was cool what they did with Sam Worthington as well.
Now we are back to "going back in time" plot, even Back to the Future only did that so much

Timeline jump is a bit dizzying but somehow they packaged it so that today's Arnold could fit in. Great effects and sound as usual. I thought it would be a reboot but it's better than I expected.
