The Three Stooges-Official Trailer

Well I am willing to bet that some of you here can remember watching the Three Stooges early movies which was laden with slapstick type humor. We can all remember Curly, Larry and Moe but there was also in the later years Shemp and Curly Joe

Curly was replaced by Shemp after Curly suffered a stroke and Curly Joe replaced Shemp after his death

We all know that the Farrelly brothers have produced/directed some pretty hilarious movies over the years. So how could this new rendition of The Three Stooges be bad??

The Farrelly Brothers are screenwriters and directors of ten comedy films, including There's Something About Mary; Dumb and Dumber; Kingpin; Hall Pass; Me, Myself & Irene; Shallow Hal; Stuck on You; Osmosis Jones; Fever Pitch (also known as The Perfect Catch outside of America) and the 2007 remake of The Heartbreak Kid.

It opens April 13

When I first saw this trailer in a theatre, for a moment there I thought those 3 guys were the real guys. :D How they searched for almost similar faces for these 3 is amazing. Saw the DVD the other night with my wife and we laughed at a few scenes. My kids watched it last night and I decided to join them (including my wife again) and boy were they laughing out loud. I actually enjoyed it more with this kind of audience. :)

And Kate Upton as a nun?

The short reels were my favorite, including the one where they disguise themselves as plumbers to escape the cop. The thing I never appreciated when i watched them as a kid was how good looking some of the actresses were that worked with them- check out Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine.
They were pretty brilliant. Particularly Curly Howard.

When I was a kid I saw a few of them short reel shows. The one that I cannot forget is when the domineering Moe asked for his pancake syrup after slapping the 2 stooges around, one of them handed Moe a bottle of rugby that glued the mouth of Moe. That was funny. :D
