Hi there,

So, my father is one of those audiophiles who has decided to sell his system. He has tasked me with helping him out.

Now, I have plenty of experience selling things on USAudiomart (my own stuff), but he has a few big-ticket items which dwarf the $1,000 to $3,000 I'm used to spending.

One is a nice Basis turntable. Another is a set of near mint REF 600 monoblocks.

Normally I use paypal, but I don't have experience selling things that are north of ten grand where the risk is a lot higher if you somehow get scammed.

What do the members here prefer payment-wise when getting into the $10,000+ price points?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

Yeah, definitley not PayPal. Wire transfer in advance is a good idea and saves time/hassle vs cashier's check.

Another vote for wire transfer in advance.

If you know & trust the seller, try Wise . Low-cost transfer unlike PayPal but without protection which PayPal offers
