Looks like you answered your own question.

The end effect of the upgrade will be, I suspect, an even greater reduction in electrical noise pollution that will improve the overall sound. I have two Triton v2 that I will be upgrading. Hopefully, I can also get my Cyclops upgraded.

I'm curious to hear your impression on the difference between before and after the upgrade? I currently have a v2 myself.
