This cardiac incident is actually well documented. As a Little League coach for my son's team, had to watch a video on spotting the signs of cardiac arrest due to being hit in the chest by a ball.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

It starts off with Saying CPR is the best course.

But it did mention a defibrillator later.

Speed is important at his position. Hat usually means wearing the lightest pads possible for your position. Sometimes no pad at all. I would like to see what he was wearing and whether it failed upon contact. it would be good to have an independent laboratory/expert examine his shoulder pads. There should have been a breast plate that would cushion the blow. maybe they should take a look at some gel inserts.

Quite scary how many pro athletes collapse on the field due to cardiac issues and die in the past 1,5 years, the numbers are shocking.
Happy to hear this young man is getting better and hopefully up and running again in no time. Many others haven´t been that lucky, may they all rest in peace and light.
Hope the media finally starts asking the right questions
Can you please pass along the documented number of pro athletes that have collapse on the field and died due to cardiac issues in the last 1 1/2 years. I would love to read about it. And can you please make the article from a well known medical institution.

If they were fibrillation, then shocking would be the correct word to use, just it’s likely in more of a literal context.

When you start researching the pro athletes died on the field or all of a sudden in their bed while sleeping, continue your research on the total death count from mid 2021 to end 2022...

…and in the 80s and 90s it was pro cyclists with high red blood cell %age, snd with low pulse rate.
It is not unheard of to have blood clots in that situation.

similarly the kung fu and other martial arts have chest hits as well… so maybe they had people keeling over with fibrillation back in olden days too?

You do that homework by yourself please as data is out there everywhere.
So in other words you are on this forum spewing horse crap. I ask you to show documented data from well respected medical source and your response is the "data is out there everywhere". If it is out there everywhere it would be easy for you to produce the data. Just like I thought, Total bulls@#t
