I've had great luck with IsoAcoustics footers in the past and I currently have some under my tape deck. I have even seen the impact from adding Gaia footers to Magico speakers.

But I was still surprised when I worked with Dave Morrison and Mark Doehmann to create an isolation platform for my Continuum Caliburn. The turntable itself is 200-220 lbs so we needed eight 32 lb capable Bordeaux footers. We installed them around the perimeter of the beefy and super heavy Castellon stand which itself sits on Finite Element ceramic ball feet. The top of the Castellon stand is solid metal and flat according to my bubble level.

The results were so satisfying. Much richer and deeper bass with lots of tautness. Soundstage seems to have improved as well, particularly in depth.

These simple footers from IsoAcoustics are worth checking out if you get a chance.

I've had Isoacoustics footers under speakers and gear for years. They can be beneficial, but I found there are better solutions available. For example, I had Gaias under my Spirits which did add a bit of soundstage width and slightly tight bass, however when I moved to the Townshend Seismic isolation platforms, there was a significant benefit in overall clarity, further bass improvement and a sense of ease to the music.

I also found that when I had the had the Bordeaux under my subs I thought the bass had tightened up, however, a few years later (fast forward to now) when I removed them, I realized there was no discernable difference in sonics. YMMV.

I have IsoAcoustics footers throughout my system and have always found that they provided surprising sonic benefits. I am aware that there are certainly better and more sophisticated footer options out there, but at considerably elevated price levels. In my experience, IsoAcoustics provides excellent value.

I was surprised by the improvement under my tape deck. I'm not sure why I was surprised but that worked out well.

I also have used IsoAcoustics with very good results throughout my system. Not with my subs. I have made many platforms for professional musicians for amps, typically Marshal. Using IsoAcoustics.
I have some Gryphon Solo Mono's coming and I will implement the same design, only difference, mine will be beautifully finished. The musicians could care less about the finish. TBH can't blame them. They beat the s--t out of them. My design has an aluminum center core. A lot of trial and ERROR but finally got what I like. Eventually I will implement the same concept under all my components...
I'll share some pics when complete. The aluminum has to be cut with a water jet...

I actually had the opposite effect. I've tried IsoAcoustics and I did not care for how they altered the sound.

I think it just shows it's really system specific as I know a lot of people love them.

For speakers I think there are better alternatives. I should have prefaced good results under components...

I believe most dealers offer a chance to see what they do. Our local guy Mike Burns at Wolfsong brings them over, installs them, and let's the owner decide. I think he rarely if ever leaves with them in his bag.

By the way, Mike helped me on the tonearm install, cartridge setup, and the isolation platform. He is the best in the ATL.

I use the Bordeaux between TAD CE-1 and the stands from Liedtke with a very good result.
More clarity and dept and also better bass performance.

Quit happy with the IsoAccustic.

I used Bordeaux's under digital components and preamps and much prefer in my 2 systems the similarly priced Stack Audio EVOs ,or higher in price Neodio B2s. I use the Stack Audio Auva 100s with my Daedalus Audio speakers - noticeable SQ benefits, and with them being on wood floors easy to move unlike the GAIAS
