The best of luck for making high end audio a priority purchase for the younger generation.

They need to be educated and shown what they have been missing.

^^^^ That's whose been buying the stuff.

They want to attract the younger crowd which will increase the number of purchases plus if you start them purchasing when they are younger, you have more opportunity to create repeat customers.

You'd be surprised how mainstream McIntosh really is; Worldwide! Even in the US they're both high-end "Lifestyle" and high-end audio which means HT, i.e., men, women and families. The brand is beyond 24kt gold, it's diamond studded too!

..McIntosh a lifestyle brand? I suppose for many but let's not forget that it sounds very good as well. It turns my stomach when I read posts that call MAC mid-fi. It's anything but that....grrrr..

You're equating Lifestyle with mid-fi and poor sound but that's not how they're marketing it. Take a look at their site they have everything including mid level products, nothing wrong with that. McIntosh brand marketing is always associated with high quality and it's so big and influential that they're renaming the company after it.
