Since mid-April I’ve done Rt66 from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier. Visited my mother for her 104th birthday and am getting ready for a family reunion in Southern Utah.

I’ve been following posts from wrong side of the audiophile bell curve on several other sites with some amusement. I hope they don’t spill back over here.

My wife and I did the same trip 4 years ago. It was one of my bucket list hopes. It was a wonderful trip.

I will say a motorhome in downtown Chicago was not a highlight for the beginning of the trip.
Then again, our trip ending at Santa Monica Pier on the morning of July 4 was very chaotic. No parking lots would allow us in so we had to move on.

Glad yours was a good trip.

We rented a Nissan Rogue AWD just for those reasons.
