What's Best Audio and Video Forum. The Best High End Audio Forum on the planet!

Fellow WBF members, my name is Gary Leeds, Managing Partner of HearThis. Steve, Ron and Julian, thank you for allowing me this opportunity to introduce myself.

HearThis, based in Newport Beach, California, is the company I have formed to introduce and develop innovative high-end audio brands throughout the US and Canada.

Learning the art and science of sound reproduction and pursuing the best in high-end audio has been a lifelong endeavor that has included work in retail, marketing, and ownership of several well-respected manufacturing firms.

However, the most impactful time in my career was working in my early 20s under Mike Kay of Lyric Hi-Fi in New York City. Mike was one of the fathers of modern high-end retailing and had a gift for uncovering the most innovative audio designers of his day. His accomplishments included helping promote many of the most innovative audio brands of their day, such as; Mark Levinson, Audio Research, Magnaplaner, Infinity, Sequerra, Nakamichi, Fidelity Research, and many others.

Mike instilled in me a disciplined, straightforward method for evaluating the sound of reproduced music and a passion for seeking out talented designers capable of advancing the art and science of sound reproduction in the home.

Honoring the knowledge he invested in me and carrying on his work helping a new generation of talented audio designers is the privilege of my professional career.

We are therefore proud to introduce the following leading high-end audio brands of tomorrow as their exclusive US importer:

Westminster Labs: electronics and cables
AEquo Audio: loudspeakers and
Ars Machinae: turntables and tonearms

Westminster Labs, Lampizator Horizon Dac, GT Audio Works, Small Green Computer, Magnan Cables
Ars Machinae
Ars Machinae Turntable
