I have jumped onto the REL six pack path with a pair to start. They are augmenting my Rockport Cygnus speakers. It's clear from bits and pieces I have read that the power cable and the Speakon cable can be improved over the two factory offerings. Do we have any members who have done a listening shootout with "reasonably priced" power and Speakon cables such as Zenwave and Triode or others who both make REL style cables? My system is Grimm Mu1 to Horizon to Gryphon EVO to Rockport Cygnus, Dragon Power and XLR, twin Shunyata Typhon 2s.
Also, I don't know why I can't figure out how to post my system as both a signiture footer and the pictures. I would love an expert here to PM me how to do that.

I have REL 25s and replaced the REL speakons with Iconoclast speakon cables. IMO a better result. https://www.iconoclastcable.com/speaker/index.htm

Not with my REL sub. Did have the Silver Resolution in my system before I decided to down size and simplify. Frank provides a hi quality product for the price. No "hi end" audio vodoo BS talk. Very straight forward and easy to work with. May offer potential return options.

My common sense perspective. How much difference can one realistically hear with the neutrik connection option? And how would you go about auditioning and determine differences between various wires? Then there is the room, sub adjustments along with the myriad of other variables and the sonic impact thereof. Good luck.

i am upgrading from the bassline blue, they were MUCH better than the stock but i feel like they are now the weakest link since everything else is Dragon, i am thinking a custom Angel or Pegasus configuration (i tried a 8TC version using left over caragons bles) and felt it was marginally better (less rumble, more punch), so I am game to try.

I can't justify Dragons so this is a compromise.

If anyone has tried a very high end cable like the Synergistic Research Atmosphere SX Rel Spec Subwoofer Cable, and i am running a pair or gloss white S/812s

REL 25s from BaseLine Blue to Iconoclast with speakon connections improved things for me.

I'm very happy some others are curious. I went with Zenwave Clear Bass for the High Level cables and Speakon jumpers as I am now with a REL Carbon Fiber Special six pack. I don't have anything to compare them to sonically, but they are well made and it's fantastic to get custom lengths. I have ordered a pair of Shunyata Theta power cords. I am about to order a pair of AQ Thunders, and I own a pair of Forte 3s from Audience. When I get them all in house I plan to listen to a pair of subs at a time to see if any of the PCs differentiate themselves in a good way. I will post my results.
My friend did in fact have an extra pair of Sigma V2s for a few weeks and tried them with his Carbon Specials. He said they made a very nice contribution, but could not justify the expense. I am hoping the low price point I am trying will still yield sonic benefits.

I am running the SR REL Spec Sub Cable you mentioned to one s/510. Only cable I’ve tried. Sounds fast, articulate & even musical if you will. May possibly find used as cable is pricey!

Signal Audio Cable. The best.

I’m also running Signal Cable high level with my REL. World’s better than the REL stock cable (my only comparison).

What other cables did you compare the Signal Audio Cable to in order to declare it “the best”. That’s what I’m trying to figure out.

Oh well the REL of course and then a couple of home built versions . Using Carne 41s.

So I decided to go with a custom AQ Angel (Speakeon to spade for ground and banana for the combined signal as I am running monoblocks) high level (even if it's an interconnect), it comes down to being 1/10th the price of a pair of AQ Dragon's connected to the Airhip II, on the other end a pair of standard AQ Angel RCA to the REL's.

I am upgrading the power cable to Dragon as they blew my Tornado's out of the water (faster, quieter, more precise, etc.) when I compared them on the main system (I have not tried them on the REL's).

Please keep me posted, the reality is I am space and colour constrained, so I can't see upgrading to the No 31 or 32, and thus I am thinking Angel is likely a good compromise, but I would love to hear the Thunderbird comparison as I tried them before upgrading to the Dragon.
