I am delighted and honored to have interviewed yesterday Anette Askvik, one of the audiophile world's favorite artists!

A huge shout-out and thank you to WBF member Per Tornell without whose introduction to Anette this interview would not have happened!

Anette is Norwegian, a singer, and not an audiophile. There's a parable in there somewhere. She is indeed an engaging character, and her voice is not all that shabby, <grin>

Anette er norsk, sangerinne og ikke audiofil. Det ligger en lignelse der et sted. Hun er virkelig en engasjerende karakter, og stemmen hennes er ikke så verst, <glis>.

I agree to all above!!

Great job Ron, couldn’t have done it better myself.. LOL…!! To be honest… and sorry to say… please don’t tell anyone, but I have no album with Anette. My mind has totally changed due to this great interview. She is shy, funny and very down to earth. I have worked about four years out in the field in Norway in the communication industry, and I know exactly what she is talking about regarding the Norwedian nature and beauty of the natures sounds and silence. Truly amazing. She is now on my vinyl shopping list - Thank you Ron, thank you Anette!

Thank you for the kind words!

Anette is obviously completely delightful and down-to-earth. I think "Liberty" and "Bring Her Home" are absolutely great songs!

Well done Ron! I've been listening to her music for some time now...

Well done Ron and thank you so much for your kind words. As I told you before, I’m just happy I was able to contribute. Anette is absolutely adorable, humble and extremely talented and I’m looking forward to her next album.
