Recently I listened to FM Acoustics big power amp together with Kharma Exquisite Midi Grand 3.0 and really liked the sound, very fluid and sweet for a SS amp. IMHO it was much better than the FM room in Munich shows.

There is a pair of FM 108 s on audiomarkt since today located in switzerland ( please note i know nothing about the seller ).
But indeed i think the big power amps are better

I ll be picking up a Hegel H590 integrated tomorrow ( because im a cheap skate )

They re planning to raise the capital gains tax as of next year overhere

There is a tenuous relationship between price and sound quality. I’m the last one to suggest spending a lot of money on digital or electronics. Looks like you’ve come to your senses.

He mostly talks the talk, but rarely buys the big ticket items. Gryphon Apex, Wadax and now FM Acoustics. If only that silvermine struck gold !

The last time i bought a big ticket item new was 2007 when i bought a Wadia 581 .
Comparing it to my 200 $ blu Ray player shut that down pretty quick .
Krell EVO 400 monos same thing.

4 years of Munich cured me of that one .

High rez speakers yes , but one can skip on amps / digital ( except a couple like FMA)

i think Bonzo takes plenty of flack for his dialogue relative to his 'system' too. all the time. X10 what you do.
