What's the most recent piece of audio equipment you have purchased and when?

Near Atlanta, GA but not too near!
And when and what do you think the next piece will be?

In my case, the most recent piece(s) were two APS Purepower Power Re-generators. One I got about 2 or 3 weeks ago and the other is "in the mail" (or not!).

Next (this coming Friday) I am re-acquiring my Dunlavy VI's that I had sold to a friend who is upgrading to Magico Q5's. And some used Bryston amps to drive them.

After that (once I figure out what brand/function) MAY be a preamp.

After that, NOTHING but more music (and movies!)

I bought an optical cable last year. Next up? Sub.

I am auditioning 2 used Evolution Acoustics PC2one Power Cords (in excellent condition) with the connectors replaced with Oyaide 079 ends that I am almost positive that I am going to keep. I am also auditioning an Oyaide Tunami GPX Power Cable; this power cord comes with the Oyaide 046 Gold/Palladium ends. In an effort to pay for some of this I expect that I will be selling 2 or 3 Analysis Plus Oval 2 Power Cords with the Oyaide 079 ends.

As an update since my posting, I used a store credit that I had to purchase a HIFi-Tuning's Disc Demagnetizer. It should ship tomorrow and I should have it on Friday.

I bought my RtR deck - a modified Technics 1520 by Tim de Paravicini a couple of months back, I am not looking to buy anything in the near future except MUSIC in all formats..... well...maybe a new DAC could help...

TW Acustic tonearm. I'm still waiting for the armboard tower. Thomas accidentally sent the wrong one. :(

I bought in the past month or two, 2 McIntosh MC601's, McIntosh MC303, and Wadia 171i ipod dock, and Analysis Plus digital cable. In the future maybe a McIntosh preamp for 2 channel music. That will be a very long time away. No space for it now.

My most recent purchase was a set of Nordost Frey interconnects and speaker cables, and prior to that, a pair of MartinLogan Spires.

Next on my shopping list is some acoustic room treatments, and a new cartridge, phono stage, and line stage are also very high on the list.

An Oppo BDP95, Morrow Audio MA3 balanced cables, PS Audio AC12 powercable and HiFi Tunning fuses (3).

Velodyne DD 12 to complement a JL f112 and fill an annoying null à la Geddes. Also picked up a Berkeley Alpha a couple of days ago. Combined for a fair bit of improvement, top to bottom. :)

I wonder if I can find any retired NSA guys I can hire to hack your hard drives. It would probably cost less than buying the contents! ;) ;) ;) ;)

Nice!!!

How long is it going to take you to get through the stuff?

Caesar, that's a good question. I've listened to Amos Lee, Within Temptation, Anathema and Kaipa, but only once. I try to listen to an album 5 times so as to really get to know the music before arriving at any conclusions.

In the 2 days since that post, however, I've acquired the following:

Deep Purple, Machine Head
The Doors, Morrison Hotel & Strange Days (Steve Hoffman Remasters)
Freddie King, The Texas Cannonball
Joe Satriani, Is There Love In Space?

It's like an addiction ... I acquire faster than I can listen. I'm about 200 behind right now.
