Has anyone invested in cannibis stocks?

Which companies do you like? Why?

Has anyone been to a MedMen store?

(Northstar, I am talking investing, not using.)

So why not short Canopy (CGC) April 2019 $30 puts for $2.80? Either you pocket the premium or you buy the stock at $27.20.

If CGC drops from here short more puts at $5.00 and buy the stock at $25.

Hilarious

I was considering it pre-Trump and pre-Sessions. Not anymore. Maybe the Canadian markets will make it lucrative. I believe they can use banks up there.

The United States potentially is a bigger market than Canada by, according to some estimates, a factor of ten. Your post suggests to me that your political prejudices blind you even to the most fundamental aspects of federalism embodied in the Constitution.

Ron, if you give me a ring tomorrow I can give you a story... I would be cautious about investing.

Ron, know this once and for all; I don't do drugs.
You are barking to the wrong tree.

My apologies, Northstar.

I think he was trying to rationalize a reason for your style of posting

Ron, I'm not here to play games, I'm here to enjoy and respect all other members.
Steve and you have a good site here with some fantastic members; mature and intelligent people, humorous people too.
We all want the best, nothing less. And it always means respect.

I want to see my home evolve with it.

I know Bob. I understand.

Thank you, but too late now. The stocks are up +/- 50% in a month.

His name is in 50% of the strains out there or is that Northern Lights?

Did someone pipi in your cereals this morning? Then don't pipi in mine.
Have a nice day, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the music.

Sorry Bob,
I thought we were talking about plants not drugs. I didn't mean to offend you and I'm sorry if I did.

Dave

Four problems:

1) The feds still consider it an illegal drug, so businesses cannot use banks, must use cash. They are also weary of drug busts by the Feds, particularly under Sessions.

2) The states that have already legalized recreational grass are in a glut, so the prices are going down a lot

3) There is still a LOT of contraband going over state lines because it makes growers a lot more money

4) Like Tobacco, it causes lung cancer. Just when we were making great inroads against tobacco, this happens...
