The local Borrensen/Aavik/Ansuz dealer was offering 30 day trial of all products. I got the Ansuz Sortz Supreme (the middle of 3 grades) for a trial. I put it into an RCA out of my dac… Wowza! I am not a huge “tweaker.” I find most of them only marginal shifts. But this is truly component level change. It opened soundstage and changed the bass significantly. The bass is fuller, almost like a properly dialed in subwoofer was added. This difference is not subtle at all. I can and did hear it blind… worth a try for sure if your local dealer is offering free trial. I will be keeping mine for sure! Unbelievable. I am flabbergasted!

Same here, dealer in loan, regular and supreme. I was really skeptical but wow. I don’t think it will a poor system so better but if you think you’ve got your system locked in try one of these.

I’m willing to try these but I must say that I’m disappointed they are altering the sound so much. Their intention is to remove noise (per the company), and not alter the sound.

Sorry, I'm not one to jump to the "snake oil" conclusion at all... but these seem ridiculous. $1400 for EACH end cap?! Come on...

My nearest dealer won't even allow a trial!

To cap my DarTZeel 18NS preamp would cost between $20K - $36K. o_OSorry man, "check please"... I'm out!

(Someone needs to copy these and get them made in Asia for 1/10th the price.)

Reviews have been mixed. 6 Moons didn't hear any difference. Other reviewers said it altered the sound, sometimes for the better, other times not. That alone is concerning is the company claims they will not alter the sound; but remove only noise.

Absolutely snake oil, same philosophy as NordOst just more expensive. Stay away and and do not feed the monster…

As far as I know Nordost is not making Sortz plugs , so I don’t see the comparison

Both make and sell thing that do nothing as advertised , but only drain money from victims. Plugs Nkore, feet plugs cables, etc with no real effect what so ever.

Have you actually tried any products from either company?

I do not have to sail around the world to prove that it is not flat. The extraordinary claims from charlatans puts the burden of proof on them. Anyone with some electronic knowledge can see through the bullshit and fake claims.
By the way I have a Nordost Tonearm Heimdall cable I bought for 100usd when I was young and stupid, it works but is unsuitable stiff. I tested listened and measured Odin interconnect with a group of people , it was the consensus that it was nothing special, compared to Blue Jeans. In fact the contact soldering was poor and Nordost did not report the correct electrical parameters , the real inductance is twice the value that Nordost reports, simply because N use the to+back loop length and not the proper length of the cable pair. Why is this relevant? Ansuz main character is the Ex-Nordost guy Christensen , he use the same marketing tricks and nonsense just at a higher price at Ansuz. Every demo of Ansuz use the same method: Play one track and then the same with the upgraded thing:
Sound better? Yes it always does since the 2 try ALWAYS sound better no natter what you do ; that is how our audible memory works - we recognise the music and notice it better the second time= Improved sound even if it the same.
Then the demo guy Changes song and adjust level for the next test , so w again get the positive recognition effect.

If you try to do a demo with the same song on same volume , but go back and forth between the 2 objects the magical upgrade disappear. I have done this several times with Hifis friends and also with sales people . The outcome is the same : no sale.

I have also opened some of this magic boxes from hi-fi charlatans, in one case the power cleaning box internals were not even connected , is was nothing but a power bar with common ground and a transformer doing nothing.

While we are at it, lets tak a look at som Magic cables , High end interconnecte have superior response and timig right? Funny that there is absolutely no difference in the impulse response( which translates to identical frequency response= no difference)

I can attest the Sortz work really well. I tried one on my router and it was a nice step up. Michael Borreson knows a lot about noise reduction.

I am a big fan of Ansuz products. While I have not tried any of the Ansuz Sortz, I have a couple of the Sparkz in my system. I've found that they do work but the effect isn't huge, at least in my system.

Astonished that anyone would buy anything from a company based on such a business model. There is no difference between Ansuz and the companies selling a socket plug with a small green light and claim it reduce your electricity bill by 99%. Well there is one difference , the socket plug does not cost 10 000 usd.
