I have experimented with numerous setup techniques using monitors and pair of subwoofers. With the monitors at least 5 feet or more away from the front wall the 3D imaging is improved. Integrating the two subwoofers takes a little effort but the net result is great bass with a deep soundstage.
Nice find on the article Ron. I witness the LP buying surge here in Spokane, WA and Northern Idaho. A couple NEW record stores have opened selling both new and used records. Often times, the customers are anywhere from 18 to 50 years old. I would guess the average customer is 30 years old.
Thanks for the report Amir. You bring up a true issue about the air conditioners in the rooms. The AC units in the rooms are an obstacle for a good show environment. They should definitely be turned off when the system is playing...it amazes me that any exhibitor leaves the AC running during demos.
