    Fuse and Cable Directionality

I have no idea what the arrows are for. You simply asked AS cables were directional and I answered.

    Fuse and Cable Directionality

I posted above that they are. Or at least, they're all marked directionally.

    Fuse and Cable Directionality

I have no idea on the merits of cable or fuse directionality. But I always just follow the arrows or the electrical path anyway. I know with Ayre VX-5 Twenty amps (8 rail fuses), the fuses should point out with circuits containing Brown/red wires and in with the blue/black wires. No clue if...

    Audiophile Fuses

I ordered a Nano liquid fuse from the Cable Co about a week ago. I have the money to waste, so why not try one for myself. I'm going to try it in my Lumin U2 (not the mini). If I can hear a positive change, I'll most likely order a bunch more for my other components.

    LHY SW-8 Audiophile switch

I saw that but I don't know enough about I2s to assume it is just a regular ethernet cable. It seems likely, yes but returning cables to Canada is a pain in the arse. Edit: I didn't see that Furutech HDMI cable before. I may have to give it a try but I was hoping for OCC silver.

    LHY SW-8 Audiophile switch

In my setup, I am probably 70% movies/shows/sports and 30% music. So when I had the SW-6, I never hooked it up with my Lumin due it not having a 2nd SFP cage. But to answer your question, I have never tried the RJ45 port in my U2. I guess with all of my years of experimentation, fiber always...

    LHY SW-8 Audiophile switch

Well, as I had mentioned, my setup is fairly complex. I would need a silver ethernet cable for my video streamer. 1G is absolutely necessary when videos often peak over 100mbps off my server. I had tried the OCC silver cable from Steven at Audio Sensibility and unfortunately, it was only...

    LHY SW-8 Audiophile switch

@stofarius congratulations! That looks like a very nice switch and you chose some well thought-out upgrades. I long for the day that we get an audiophile switch with at least (3) SFP ports and an OCXO. I'm sure one will be coming soon. On a side note, does anyone have a good source in the...

    LHY SW-8 Audiophile switch

Sorry for the late reply/bump. I have an SW-6, SW-10 and their FMC box. I started with the SW-6 and was so impressed that I bought an FMC to use from my Intel NUC running Roon ROCK to a fiber switch. I had a Sonore opticalModule in before this change. For reference, I converted my LAN to...

Magico A5s arrive at Rhapsody....color me confused;)

Sadly, due to all of this Covid mess, I could only find one dealer who had the A5s in and would audition them. It was a few hours away but also in a house. So I didn't feel comfortable going into that environment and so I passed on A5s without even being able to hear them. I know they would...

Magico A5s arrive at Rhapsody....color me confused;)

Hey everyone. Glad I found this forum/thread. There seems to be sooo many posts out there bashing Magico. I just don't understand it. Never from anyone who've owned their speakers, only those who've "heard them before". I guess they can't afford them and thus, think they're overpriced...
