Finally getting a chance to post some comments on my 3D plasma which I have had for about a month and a half now. By no means would I want to update my projector setup, but a smallish flat screen to replace my 768p set in my bedroom was a no-brainer to satisfy my curiosity.

Amir, how do you tell the difference between chromatic aberration and misconvergence? My Lumis is just about perfect at the center as far as convergence, maybe 1/2 pixel of one color at one edge is the worst.
I never saw Avatar in the theater, but on the Lumis, it was the most "3D" picture I have seen yet. After viewing it, I felt there was no need to move to 3D.
Still ... with content starting to trickle out there, I am getting more and more curious. I will likely pick up a 3D flat panel soon.
The industry really needs to get their act together. They should have had everything standardized before release.

Nothing much out there now except for the "heavy metal" units. There are some cheap gaming projectors out there - primarily designed for PC hookup.
CEDIA should bring out a whole lot of new options.
It seems that it had been trending towards LCDs, certainly my own personal last few purchases have been LCDs. However, recently the KUROs have been described as the best TVs ever made. Now 3D coming on, plasma seems to be the better technology for 3D - at least for now. Supposedly, next year...
I am using the iRule app for the iPhone/iPod Touch (iPad version to come soon). It is pretty much DIY, but fairly easy to set up. You do have to buy some extra hardware to attach to your components. I have set up a VPN where I can control my system from a remote location.
