    Luxman M-900u power cable choices?

Hi Markus. I did wonder that myself. Before buying the new cables I had a long talk with Richard from Shunyata and he told me that the ground leg is necessary even though the Luxmans are internally grounded. I honestly forget the reason but I will ask him again to explain it to me.

    Luxman M-900u power cable choices?

Hi Felipe. Happy New year to you! Glad that Carlos answered your question. I agree with him. The Sigmas really do work well with Luxman gear. And they are not "silly" expensive. Just expensive! Happy New Year all!

    Luxman M-900u power cable choices?

I ended up getting Shunyata Sigma v2 NR. Very happy. YMMV of course.

    Luxman M-900u power cable choices?

Well in for penny! I just received a set of Alpha V2 Nr PC's for my 3 source components and got a Sigma V2 NR for the M-900u. Burning in as we speak but first reaction is favorable. Thankfully ;-)

    Luxman M-900u power cable choices?

Pretty much the same as previously reported. Tonal balance and overall "sound" was good but the amazing holographic imaging and huge soundstage was severely compromised IMO. Notes were slightly blurred as compared to an amazing amount of solidity and space around the instruments/voices. I tested...

Has anyone compared Shunyata Alpha NR V1 vs Delta NR V2

Just ordered up a Denali 6000/S v2 and an Alpha XC to power it. Then in a bit get Alpha NR v2 for the power amp and pre amp. Delta V2's for the sources. really appreciate your help Kenny.

Has anyone compared Shunyata Alpha NR V1 vs Delta NR V2

Mahalo! Sounds like getting a full complement of v2 wire is going to show the best improvements. Delta v2's should be perfect for my sources.

    Done with digital

Interesting take. So what if it's personal preference. I always thought that reviews were subjective. After all our ears and brains are different. Our rooms are different. Our needs are different. But regardless, i feel it is a bit odd for a professional reviewer to be so negative towards a...

Has anyone compared Shunyata Alpha NR V1 vs Delta NR V2

Thanks Kenny. I spoke to Richard at Shunyata and he said that the general consensus he is hearing from customers and dealers is that the new Delta NR v2 bests the Alpha NR v1. Your comment is very relevant as it is down to how the system is sounding and my aims. Right now using older Shunyata...

Has anyone compared Shunyata Alpha NR V1 vs Delta NR V2

I am looking to upgrade the power cords on my Luxman D-10X and Lumin X1. Deciding between Alpha NR V1 or Delta NR V2. I can buy these cables for about the same money. Would love to hear if anyone has made a comparison. Aloha!

My own experience with Luxman D10X

Well you must be blessed. Out of the 5000 + I have owned I think about 250 or so are dead. Including SACD and other high end offerings.

My own experience with Luxman D10X

My experience is different. I was an analogy nut up till about 1-2 years ago. Hated digital for anything other than casual listening. Then the D-10X and X1 came into my system. Everything changed from that point. Vinyl is still wonderful if done right but so is digital. We are blessed with so...

My own experience with Luxman D10X

My streaming device is pretty wonderful which is why I did that. Its not like i stood around waiting for this. It took a while but was hardly a task. I sit at a desk for hours working so why not slip in a few discs while I'm there. No blessing needed ;-) And while I know that discs sound really...

My own experience with Luxman D10X

You dont need to buy them all over again. i just finished ripping my 5000+ CD collection. Now I will get rid of many, just keeping special ones, Box sets, SACD's and a few close to my heart. There is room for both in my life. I have over 10000 albums and they are the ones that could get the boot...
