So some members here have been talking about how Rhodium free for a more natural sound. It seems intriguing to me and I'm wondering how feasible it is with the current market selection of cable connectors and other parts? Most manufacturers seem to use it?
Which brands/lines use it and which...
Been running my King Sablon for a couple of days now, I ended up using it on my dCS Network Bridge as I found it made the biggest difference. Beside the power cable is the Sablon Panatela Ethernet:cool:
Mark was nice enough to make me a custom 30cm Ethernet cable, specifically with the source side plug facing up and the other side facing down. It now fits perfectly with my setup and sounds awesome!

My two Panatela Ethernet cables arrived, the long one to replaced AQ Vodka and the short one to replace Wireworld Platnium Starlight. Definitely an improvement on both those cables: a more balanced and fuller sound. I am impressed! Thank you Mark!
Question about the Vivaldi Clock: Does the power cable make a big difference for this device?
I know for both my Vivaldi DAC and Network Bridge changing power cables made a huge difference in sound, but I'm not sure about the Clock.
Some cable brands have High current models designed for amps and power hungry devices and Regular models for everything else.
My question is, does this really make a difference or is this more of a marketing thing?
Because some brands don't different between High and Low current and just...

I'm currently running a pair of 536 amps with my 523 Preamp. My friend has a pair of No.53's which might be available for sale soon. I'm wondering how would these two compare in sound quality? The No.53's being reference level, but a couple years older in technology vs 536 with less power but...
My friend wanted to support the power cable which was high on his desk so he added a whole bunch of extension shafts for his NCF Signal booster haha.
The booster piece in the middle of the tower is for structural support as the legs get wobbly from the extreme height
So if you have the Network Bridge already and you get the Upsampler after, would you still keep and use the Network bridge at the same time, or sell the Network Bridge?
What kinda cable lifts do you guys use?
I've been experimenting with my wire setups and trying to make everything look tidy. With regards to sound improvements I haven't really had the patience to do testing.
I'd like to hear everyone's experiences and preferences!

Hi guys, I've had the Vivaldi DAC 2.0 with the Network Bridge for a few months now and I'm planning to get the Vivaldi Clock in the near future. If I already have the Network Bridge should I still consider getting the Upsampler? I understand that some of their functions overlap?
Ahh thanks for the info guys. I was just worried I got the older version :P
Here's the response I got from Transparent:
XL digital cables were actually one of the first cables to feature Generation 5 technology and we have only made one version.
A packaging and naming change was made when we...
Hey guys, I just purchased Reference XL Digital cables, 75 ohm BNC and 110 ohm AES XLR.
Were these Digital cables also updated to Gen 5 or are they the same?
The 75 ohm cables came with a Gen 5 label while the 110 ohm AES XLR came in a 'older looking' style paper box which didn't specify...
