    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

Bob, Your rendition of the Alsyvox is spot on IMO and is very well put. Having been an audio guy demanding music to generate emotion these speakers get to a final stop of finding what I was after. Music emotion can be defined by each listener and no one can define it for them. What a great...

Thanks Bob, I could not have explained near like you can. But again, that's in the past so best of luck in the future. May the sales be with you. I get so many relaxing and fun moments with these speakers as I am sure the other owners do as well. You are so fortunate to have them in your...

My story with Bob and Alsyvox goes back a ways......I choose not to share on this site. Congratulations also to Daniele of Alsyvox for this relationship. You can ping me if curiosity is a bother.

I agree with this totally. This hobby is all about personal enjoyment and what moves YOURSELF emotionally. Just don't get in a hurry making a decision based on others.......make sure you let your own reality make the choice and remember all things in a system matter. Amplifiers are just one...

    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

Kris, The Alsyvox only draws a few WPC at most any listening levels. I forgot to mention my amps. can be switched to pure Class A with power rating of 60WPC with a conversion to AB up to 250WPC. Depends on a lot of factors which setting I prefer. The new room will be like tuning all over again...

My new room will be 19 X 30 X9H. Amps. used are the T+A M10 monos. Latest versions are the M60's. Both are Hybrids which I find perfect on the ribbons and both are 1000 WPC into 4 Ohm.

Hey Bill, I sold my Gamut RS7i's and my friend in Chicago sold his Magico Q3's.....both of us own the Botticelli........someday will add the X crossovers. Lots of choices out there but the Alsyvox checked all the boxes.;) Gwalt

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

Myself and a friend would like to pair up and buy the external crossovers also if it was not for these expensive money pit houses we are building. I had two other owners of the Botticelli (after adding the crossovers) tell me the cost represents better bang for the buck than any upgrade of a...

    T+A M40 HV Review

I was lucky to find the line since I wanted to end the pain of "spend a lot to gain a little". This brand did that for me. I did not attend Axpona but a friend of mine from Chicago did and told me their room had components with the lid off so you could view the makings and said they were...

    T+A M40 HV Review

Hey Rower30, Thanks for the review. I own the older version of the M40....the M10 that made the refined M40 able to be born. The newest version (M40) simplified the tube voltage used in the gain stage thus you have 4 tubes and I have 6. However I find my older M10's still provide the same goods...

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

Thanks Philippe and I know my question was not on topic of room dimensions and build quality on Alsyvox set up. My BAD as this topic is trial and error. It still helps to know you have tried different wire and your success was in the power cords. Since the dedicated line wire from the circuit...

PhP, Know anyone who has experimented with various hookup wire to a dedicated circuit with its own circuit board? Most electricians use Romex with a designated value unless the client presents something other meeting code. Looking for ideas that make a notable difference. I am using an HB...

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

PhP Thanks so much for this information. I know every room is different but outside this for Alsyvox owners Daniele explained on line to me that the best advice was to make sure the room was "tight" via 1.5 inches (triple) of drywall for example. Do what it takes to avoid any vibrating of the...

Bob I am glad the marriage between you and Alsyvox has such lasting implications. It is such a good feeling to know that you as a dealer and the Aslyvox are very capable of creating such Emotion in this hobby that can add such positives to our lives and only a small percentage achieve. Happy...

I agree a very nice accomplishment to go along with the speakers. Would it be possible as an owner of the speakers to get the dimensions of the room and the speakers final resting place from the front walls you arrived at in the picture if this was your most gratifying location? Also could you...

    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

Ken, Could you define mainstream amplifiers and your listening preferences? What sounds great? These definitions likely vary in all regards from one music lover to another. gwalt

Agree with Rhapsody fully. You need worry mostly how you want the timbre and dynamic/speed/control behavior in your selection. The power rating will affect that behavior. With that efficiency rating they are extremely amplifier friendly.

    Bruce Edgar

Oh my no. I just found this out from a friend in San Diego that Bruce passed away. I am very sad for sure. I owned his Titan ll system with Seismic Sub for 13 years here in Nebraska after purchase in 2004 and was the sole owner. Bruce actually flew into Omaha Ne in 2007 and we listened to a...

Hello Morricab: The electronics used at 2018 and 2019 RMAF where the Botticelli's were displayed used the Omega Audio Concepts electronics and cables made in Italy. I purchased my Botticelli speakers after hearing them at RMAF 2018 show. It was an "Oh Ya That's It" forever experience. Still...

    Latest speaker offerings at Rhapsody.Audio

    AlsyVox Botticelli with external crossovers

I have just now reached my one year anniversary of ownership of the Botticelli playing in a 17ftX35ftX9ft room. Prior to owning these I owned the Gamut RS7i floor standers in the same room. Both speakers are rated to go down to 22hz. The Gamut's surely exhibited power in the lower region (two...

"More people spend $€£100-400k on a system than 10-40k"...

I think sales of used gear is taking more creativity and the prices reflect it. I just sold two sets of monoblocks to get the ones i really wanted. However one set I sold was under $4K and the other set I am allowing the potential buyer to pay shipping and full price to audition for 5 days with...

Marcus Thanks for posting this information as it is just hard to know the total sonic differences without your ABing experience already owning the speaker. As we both know this speaker is very honest in sonic capabilities to the source. Enjoy the music and have fun with your fine system!;)

    DaveC's RMAF 2019 Picture Thread

I would sincerely like to thank Dave C for his tremendous pics and the insight to the new Venue. Not disagreeing with anyone on the cost. However, you could argue this with a lot of designs and manufacturers......in fact a big percentage of audio. It has gotten to be extreme in some cases. Some of the manufacturers came with the concept and they made the sales to that market....others not...
