    Don I will see what I can do. To be honest I am not in the IPhone video camp. To me it seems rather counterintuitive to compare hi fidelity systems using the lowest common denominator. It does seem to be a thing so I should check it out but I haven't made the time at this point.

    It is difficult to audition them as Coherent is a small company and basically relies on word of mouth. In talking to the designer just the other day he admitted that he didn't want to be to big. As far as video I will have to figure that out.

    Is there a name for that show? I was at the Highend Show in 2022 with friends. One of our group wandered off and discovered this offsite venue behind the MOC. He was impressed but the rest of us missed out. I will be attending again this year and will definitely plan to visit this offsite venue.

    I have to agree with your assessment of the Solution gear. Having said that it was a very limited experience in what I would say was a poor room. Having not been in that room before I shouldn't assign blame still I was not impressed.

    I like your attempt at explaining these concepts. Your conceptualization of things makes sense. Personal perception of course is always a wild card and it trumps everything! That's what makes things so complicated in system assessment and explaining our viewpoints. IMHO.

    I would go with option 2. Antipodes is nice I have the S Series I have heard their Oladra frequently at a friend's place, it is clearly a step or two beyond. Is Antipodes the best option? I certainly don't know but it would be an excellent start!
