no surprise to anyone i'm sure. sad deal all around. right now a full on all-in audio show would be fun. hope not too much blood in the water from this show cancellation for anyone.

locally here in the Seattle area there is a bit of talk about some sort of home to home to home 'tour' kind of audio show. nothing firm yet. hope it happens. getting together somehow is essential i think. this past weekend i did a home and home with jazdoc. some new vinyl and SUT inquiries. my first hifi 'outing' since the pandemic hit.

time to start living again.

Kudos to Marjorie for her refund policy:

"As we stated in March, RMAF will be issuing full refunds to those exhibitors who have made their initial deposits. We understand that in times such as these, finances can be a delicate balance, so you may expect to see your refund within the next 7 to 10 business days. If your company issued a check, you may be assured that it remains un-deposited, and we will return it or shred it at your direction."

I'm sure this is hard on Marjorie but she is putting her clients in the industry first.

Bet it was cancelled to prevent another Axpona situation where returning deposits was impossible.

My guess is by October the high end will be dying for a show.
