This is a question for our tube amplifier design experts.

Jadis specs 40 watts out of its NEC845 845 x 2 Class A, push-pull amplifier. Absolare specs 85 watts out of its Push-Pull 845 x 2 Class A, push-pull amplifier.

Is Absolare just running the 845 tubes much harder than is Jadis?

What do you think explains the difference in output for a seemingly identical output design topology?
