Hi Everyone,
I was hoping someone could point me in the proper direction on how best to wire the available equipment:
I have the following:
- Sonos Connect:Amp (55Wx2 at 8 Ohms)
- Sonos Amp (Class D amplifier provides 125 watts x 2 into 8 ohms)
- Klipsch CS-16 II (8 Ohm, 40W, ceiling) (x 10 speakers.)
I need to control volume only in two separate environments: indoor and outdoor:
- Indoor: Big room, high ceilings, 6 speakers in pairs (3 sets), installed on ceiling.
- Outdoor: Open area (no walls), large room, 4 speakers in pairs (2 sets), installed on ceiling.
So, three pairs of speakers have to go to one Sonos and two pairs of speakers to the other Sonos.
A few initial questions: What combination of Sonos to speakers would give best results? Parallel or series for speakers? Should I buy a separate amplifier to install between Sonos and speakers? Any suggestions on which ones?
Thank you very much for any help!
