Berkeley Alpha DAC 1 vs 2???

Amir, Richard or anyone - any comments on the two units? I haven't had a chance to compare them yet; from the reviews I have read, I am beginning to think the original is probably going to be more to my liking

I have not done a comparison so I have nothing to share subjectively. The explanation of what is different tells me it is upstream changes before the DAC so differences may be equipment dependent.
