Best place to sell gear these days?

The last quote I got from TMR, they take a 35% fee on the first thousand and then 15% thereafter, which is way more than a direct sale through Audiogon/PayPal, etc. If you're in a hurry, Audiogon gets a lot more eyeballs than US Audiomart. I'll have the same item listed on both sites and on average get 5x more inquires through Audiogon. Buying is a different matter, if a seller is advertising on both sites i always go through USAM

TMR also has a "cash" quote option. If accepted, once they inspect/test the gear they pay via PayPal (they pay for shipping too). I have sent them lots of small items which has cleared the audio closet. Selling that little stuff, especially older tweaks, is a pain otherwise.

For gear, Audiogon has worked well for me as has USAM.

If you want someone to sell your gear try Echo Audio. Nicest guys in the business.

Otherwise USAudiomart is the best place right now for me and no fees for private transactions.
