obviously a Rosewood but is it a Signature or a Signature PLatinum or just a Rosewood?

I was thinking Signature with the S serial number but based on this link I think just Rosewood since it doesn't have the bump on the bottom where the cantilever goes into the body

follow up..... This and a Black Goldline are being offered to me . Who can I send them to to have them evaluated

I have a Standard with the crimped bottom cover and also with an S prefix on the serial number. I once heard the S denotes silver coils, but I never had that corroborated.

I sent my Black Goldline to Steve at VAS.
Joseph Long is good too (groovetickler on IG).

the chamfered profile and shorter body denotes standard rosewood. The signature and platinum carts have a longer, 'flat' bottom profile w/ the bump protecting the armature. Did you lay it directly on the cantilever? ouch.

no, I laid it on the bottom of the cartridge, the cantilever sticks out of the body on the slope above that. laying it down like that doesn't "lay it directly on the cantilever"
