My new project has just finished after one and half year of design and preparation.
Started from a completely dismantled DENON DP-80 and worked in small steps to make it really "uber".
Everything is modified or CNC cut from new.
Metals used are aluminum, leaded iron, inox steel, and bronze.
There is also liberal use of damping agents and lead shot mixed with thick gearbox oil in specific areas.
The main chassis is 70 kilos -8 kilos of them is rotating mass- the tonearm base is 10 kilos and the external PSU is 6 kilos encased
in a custom aluminum box.
A twist lock ending umbilical feeds the turntable with all the voltages.
All finished in automotive paint and custom color combination.
The owner will use it with a Kuzma 4Point arm and Kuzma CAR 50 cartridge.
See some photos from the finished product and i will be happy to answer any questions.
