Pierre Bolduc, a great music enthusiast, journalist, and editor of Audiofilemusic magazine, has passed away. Canadian by birth but Italian by adoption, he was a fan of Be Yamamura. In his incredible studio in Salerno, I had the opportunity to experience and appreciate the fantastic Dionisio loudspeakers by maestro Yamamura and the Kondo electronics. Many enthusiasts, dealers, and importers in Italy knew him for his great friendliness, expertise, and refined musical culture. A true figurehead has passed away, one who, with his witty wit, could poke fun at all of us enthusiasts, bringing us back down to earth when the mania for musical perfection led us to desire unheard-of follies. May the earth rest lightly upon you.
