I'm looking for A CD player under 10000€ (could be used), probably coupled with a Lamp GGII.
I think first of Zanden, Metronome, Accuphase 720.
Any idea from distinguished members?

Hi.
You mention a couping with the Lampi so you're mostly looking for a CD transport ?
In your checklist I like the Accuphase both as a transport & as a standalone player; it has a pleasant, crisp, and bouncy sound. The SACD also sounds very good (for a change).
The Metronome transport is simply excellent. I particularly appreciated its very high resolution level, clarity and lwo level detail restitution.BTW, the Metro upsamples everything to DSD (IIRC). I listened to the transport version.
I have't listened to the Zanden.
Another transport I liked is the top of the line ProJect. Not as prestidious as the other two, but very nice performer, not far from the Metro (and much cheaper I think).
I don't own any of these, so my comments are based on reasonably long auditioning experiences. Regards

Thank you. Which Metronome transport?

Are you looking for a player or transport only?

I still use cd player, so all the comments would be in context of my limited experience. I have not had experience with transports only, but as far as cd players are concerned, I would stick to ones that are still in production and have factory back up, which are not many. I have had players from Burmester (061, 001, 089) Dcs (Puccini with clock) Metronome(Le player 2s) and have tried some others at home (Arc ref 7, Meridian 808mk6 ) as well as some others which were not that great (Pathos and Bryston). My choice, sound wise and if quality of their construction is of concern, would be Burmester. Metronome has (or at least mine had) somewhat noisy transport, Meridian uses dvd drive and famed Esoteric transport inside Dcs Puccini has a lots of plastic parts which are known to fail (the only solution to repair one was with 3d printing of some parts). I believe that Accuphase makes great players too, but have not had any of them. Accustic Arts is perhaps also a company to consider, as they make transports and players too

CD Box RS2 T
CD-Pro 8 top loading module with suspension system and Blue Tiger CD-84 servo board

This is an excellent choice. I have owned it for three-plus years and find it built well and sounds superb. It is, however, critical to not use it with the optional DAC card for top performance. Profundo is a US importer and provides superb service and support.

And well under the OP spending limit.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, Micromega Duo CD 3.1 transport used 500€-1k€ in good condition. With AES/EBU almost a perfect digital signal without jitter. I call it a favorites scarer, easily destroys drives that are 5-10 times more expensive, the French know how to build something like that.photos_hifi_016_166.jpgmic3.jpgmega.jpg
