I doubt it. A friend of mine just gave me a Nackamichi RX-505 that he bought brand new. It still plays both sides of a tape perfect, but it won't flip the tape anymore. It tries, and stops about half way through the cycle. Someone said it would cost around $250 to have one of the Nackamichi gurus fix it. Other than that, it's in really good physical condition.

Yeah sadly I doubt there would be enough activity in a Nackamichi section (would be more on neutrinos IMO Micro :) ), lovely units sadly I sold mine many years ago and still have tapes that I have not found on another format.

Coincidentally was contacted by a friend as I'd just read this thread who has some old components he's looking to get rid of, one is a Nak CR3A -- I'm sure he'd sell it cheap, if somebody wants, let me know.
