Graham Audio LS5/5: considered impressions after three months of ownership (Part One)

Please keep us posted. I have a pair of 5/5s with Gig Harbor stands. I think wood ones like Trontrager are generally better.

@Alsatian, how tall are the Gig Harbor stands not including the spikes?

I think the wood stands might be better. I’ll let everyone here know if I find a wood stand builder in the USA. I sent inquiries for quotes to Timbernation and one other builder but I haven’t received a response yet.

The price for the base LS5/5 in the USA is $15,000 in cherry or oak. That's down from $20,000 with the old distributor. The new distributor is Gig Harbor Audio and they're also a dealer for Graham. Gig Harbor also makes steel stands much like Graham. I made inquiries from 2 wood stand makers in the USA and I'm waiting to hear from them. I'll keep you updated. Thanks again Stephen!

Long time GHA customer. Can confirm that the GHA stands compliment Graham LS5/8 and 5/5 very well. They can make to whatever height you want.

I've lived in Texas for the last 5 years and Gig Harbor Audio remains my primary dealer.

I'm glad I purchased mine as a demo pair. I'd be really unhappy paying $20k now that they brought the price down to $15k.
