thanks everyone for the welcomes. I'll get to work on your questions; I will have to get some answers from the factory. The Reference Transport has been running through the gauntlet of testing. We still do not have a firm ship date for it, but I anticipate we will see it in Q2 of this year. As for new products and a replacement for the Atlantis DAC - I can't reveal too much at this time. We do have some fun and exciting things planned for this year, however. I will update you as we move forward and information becomes available.

Welcome on WBF, Brandon. May I please ask you the following: a while back Javier informed me that Wadax was thinking about introducing a dsd 512 option for the reference dac. But he also mentioned that this option was not Wadax’s top priority. Can you please inform us whether the dsd 512 option will indeed be introduced in the near future?
I spoke with Javier about this; he told me there has been very little interest shown for DSD512. While not a foregone conclusion, he has a lot of other projects currently in front of him, so I imagine it will not be something you see in the near future.

Hi Brandon, I have been informed that a Wadax reference PSU and two Akasa dc cables are ready for shipment to me. May I please ask you in this regard the following:
- For how many hours have this PSU and dc cables been burned in at the factory? Is that around 50 hours?
- How many hours do these components approximately need - according to your experience - before they can be considered (more of less) fully broken in?

I have been informed that the units and cables are burned in for 48 hours at the Wadax factory. And that another week of playing at home is needed to break them in completely. The latter seems somewhat optimistic to me because I expected that at least another 300-400 hours of burning in would be needed. But the Wadax specialists undoubtedly know this much better than I do.

Hi AC -
this is correct. I confirmed with the factory that products and cables go through an initial burn-in process. I would recommend about a week for break-in after that. I would suggest you will have your biggest sound improvement at home after a couple days of playing and settling in.

Thanks Brandon! I am currently (further) burning inter alia all my cables (grounding cables, pc’s, ic’s, loudspeaker cables) as well my various Tripoint Audio ‘grounding’ units with a cable cooker. That will certainly take another couple of weeks. So playing in the Wadax Reference PSU and Akasa dc cables (if I receive them say at the end of next week) will fit in perfectly. Thanks again.

Hello i have a question regarding Wadax in general as a Wadax fan .
Are there any plans of Wadax A - D designs in regard to studio / recording use .
I think most music lovers would benefit from Wadax AD conversion resulting in better more musical digital files

This is a good question which I will bring up with Javier. However, I can tell you right now that, based on the plans for the near future, an A/D converter is not in works presently.

Is it possible to have the current retail pricing for 2024 posted?
