Gregadds' Capital Audiofest Tour

I will not pick a best in show. I will cast my vote for" "darling" of the show. At the show I described it in one word-WOW! I have not heard anything like this since the Magico Mini. This is better. If you are a reviewer or dealer you need to audition this.20181102_155258 (2).jpg

Overall I thought the show was a huge sucess. I look forward to next year..

I was searching for the Martin Logan Room. At that time I heard Sarah Vaughn coming from a room. Being a big fan I stopped for a listen. The guy conducting the demo had an air of confidence that belied his appearance and what appeared to be a rather ,meager system in a small room. Sarah and Satchmo were singing. It was only two of us in the room. At the end of the selection we both proclaimed WOW simultaneously. This a mini-monitor and comes in at the bargain price of $21k. Yes I have been seduced by mini- monitors before only to walk the next morning in shame. Voices were just real. I did not feel as though I was listening to a stereo. Yes you still have the solve the problem of deep bass. They do make a full range version. But we all know how that usually goes.
What's her name? Gamut.(Sorry for all the sexual metaphors.)

That's easy, add subs.

Believe it or not subs change the tonal character of a speaker. That is nota always good.

I seem to take this company for granted. They have always produced beautiful soud and speakers at areasonable price.
The finish while available at a premium was exceptionally beautiful. It may even pass WAF/

Wilson Audio
Wilson always seems to handle the problem of a large speaker in a relatively large room. Indeed they seem to draw large crowds and an there is not a bad seat in the house.

Thanks Cary/ I enjoyed meeting you. I I hope you will return next year own room.
Madison Fielding - many years ago, I gave them "best sound in show" and they still remembered that when I met them this year.

Maybe ou'll bring aa pair of your big speakers We can have dinner on Saturday night.
