Congrat's Myles on a fantastic review.

It's 1) informative, 2) entertaining, and 3) engaging. It is what reviews should be. Also, it brings a new product to our eyes and ears. Have you heard of Audia Flight?

Myles is a great reviewer and I'm proud to work with him.

That Penderecki is a hell of a recording - which one is it?

What microphones did you use to record the musical playback portion of the video?

Sony spaced omnis. Sony 4K cam. 8.5 feet from mics to loudspeakers.

And the purpose of the flowery prose is? How about "check out our latest review?"
Who needs a subscription when I can check out WBF! :)

Wait, I'm going to get a scoop of my favorite hand churned ice cream before I sit down to watch the review on my computer.

I do enjoy reading and watching Myles' opinions about gear. I especially enjoyed his S5 video review. And there is always reference to great music. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Edit: I just watched the video review. Great job Myles! It was a very informative and a pleasure to watch. I liked the three-video format, broken down between intro/desription, music/listening, and comments on the sound/conclusion. The lighting and audio were also very good. I especially liked the description of the rest of the gear in the system and the music selections. Very comprehensive and well done.

Thanks. Too bad it's not available on LP, ugh... Haven't heard strings like this in a LOOONG time. Very impressive.

I too am impressed with this line. I first heard them at RMAF two years ago. They embody life in the same way as tubes do.

We will have the mono blocks in for review this fall/winter.

It all starts with the source, and apparently Myles's deck and repro are extra-ordinary... and all of it through my computer speakers. I'll keep an eye on Audia Flight; first I heard of them was years ago and their phono - that piece didn't quite do it for me.

I can thank Charlie King/Stellavox for all his help in modding the deck. It's his King-Cello tape preamp that is doing electronics duty!

Just extra-ordinary! I gotta come down to New York to visit!

I have the Lysy - just beautiful; but apparently the Janaki is in a league of its own... put it out on LP please!

I thought the LP sounded great through the YouTube video as well and that in itself says a lot for the quality of the microphones that Peter used to record the sound not to mention the quality of the sound of Myles' system including the amp under review. I enjoyed listening to Myles talk about the amp and I really enjoyed listening to the music. You can just imagine what it sounded like in person.

I really don't know what the Audia Flight did in the scheme of things but I was there recently. What I can say is that I had nothing to complain about....and I'm very picky.

Hi Miles, I'd really like to know what the outro music was on those clips as it was way cool, jazzy and pretty groovy. Do you know if it's available?

Cheers,

Sencha.

PS; great review by the way!

I just finished watching the entire review. ...I enjoyed listening to the music playing best.

* Note:
With a high caliber system like that; loudspeakers, amp, TT, cart, R-2-R, preamp, phono amp, cables, ...I was ready for full orchestral classical music. :b
Is the amp suitable enough? ...And the room's size too? ...I'm sure the loudspeakers and the amp are.

I was there last year and enjoyed the visit. The CJ amps were playing when I arrived.

Nice review Myles.
