Anyone try cables with tuning disks? Add any value or just to attract attention in a crowded marketplace?

How do they work?

I don't know about tuning discs, but I am a believer in cable risers. I use Acoustic Revive RCI-3H risers for my speaker cables, and plan to add Furutech NCF Boosters in future to brace the power connectors on my Vitus gear & to support cables as required. I also own an Akiko Audio E-Tuning Gold MkII tweak which I plan to place on the pc from wall-conditioner. It is supposed to reduce noise in the form of microphonics. I haven't actually tested it yet to verify their claims, but it is reputedly one of Akiko's best tweaks.
