Hello all- Just signed up on recommendation of another member here. Excellent forum from what I have read thus far. Nice to see a culmination of seasoned professionals in one place who possess such a high level of knowledge .

My background is as a technology / security expert for Microsoft-based infrastructures, and I am CEO of a B2B software company which I co-founded several years ago. Outside of work, I'm typically tweaking on my home AV system as one of my primary hobbies.

There use to be an AV store in Beverly Hills (Christopher Hansen?) that is to blame for me getting into HT. They had a Frox controlled system with an 8 foot screen/Sony projector with the original Snell THX speaker system. I went home from my visit and built the identical system !!

Thanks for the welcome Audioguy. I would have to "place my blame" on Bill Bryan in Irvine of Sound Video Automation (www.soundvideoautomation.com) for simply *ruining me* with his demo room systems and plethora of AV knowledge. Bill got me hooked on the Genesis line of speakers, Theta line of processors / amplifiers, and patiently let me pester him with a million+1 questions. Prior to that, I think I actually had extra money in the bank... LOL.

Hi Gary- You bet! And you can directly thank Bill at SoundVideoAutomation.com for getting me "hooked" on your products. First, beginning with Bill auditioning a full set of your 1.1's as the front stage in his full Genesis 10.4 theater system driven by Theta gear (stunning!!), and next with 2ch listening on a pair of 5.3s (also driven by Theta gear).

When Bill hooked me up with his demo set of 6.1's and 6.1c, I jumped on it and have been extremely pleased. As a matter of fact, we spoke not too long ago when I sent one of the 6.1 amp boards in to you for servicing. Excellent job on the service by the way, and again thanks for the prompt and courteous service.

I do have one tech question in regards to sub xover on the 6.1 mains if you don't mind - I'll PM it to you.
