Hello guys,

nice that you’re reading my first post.
I’m Florian and 19teen years old.

My english skills are not the best, just a small warning.
Since 5 years now, I have the passion to reproduce music in a perfect way.

It started with a pair of 2-way DIY bookshelf speakers and a Linn amp, in my old child’s room.
In 2017 I moved everything in the basement, in a 40 square meter room.
I started to experiment with a pair of JBL 2360 horns and open baffle for bass. Everything full activated and DSP controlled, yeah that was nice, but not perfect.
Time after time I learned more about loudspeakers, DSP’s, Phase, Directivity, magnitude and room acoustics.
It was a long way, but it was a great way.

For analogue reproduction I use actually a Micro Seiki RX 1500 turntable. I really like these turntable, because he looks amazing and is nice constructed. Since I saw the first time a Micro Seiki turntable, during one of @shakti ’s workshops I was “in love”.
A year later I bought this Beauty.
Since this year I’m using a LAB12 Melto 2 Phono preamp. Sounds very nice, but I think with a better cartridge the performance could be better (actually I’m using a Denon DL103).

I’m very happy so far, but I think it escalated a bit.

If you want, maybe I can post some measurements tomorrow.

here are some specs about my actual stereo set-up:

Roon:
intel NUC as core
Meridian MC 200 as endpoint

Turntable:
Micro Seiki RX 1500

Phono-Preamp:
Lab12 Melto 2

Loudspeaker:
Mids/Highs: JBL 2360 horns with BMS 4592 drivers
Lows: JBL 2242 in bass reflex

Pre-Amp/DSP: WAF Audio
Amp: Parasound 1206

I attached some pictures for you.

Thanks for reading and best Regards,

Florian

You're 19? At your age, I was buggering about with a Dual 505 tt and some Harmon Kardons/Cerwin Vegas.
In other words, a whole lot less impressive than yr setup Lol.

Thanks for all messages :)

I’m since one year member of this forum, but just for reading passive the threads.
here are so many people with unbelievable great stuff, that’s so nice.

It was a long way and I spend a lot of my money in HiFi, but that’s good invested. :D

So I hope, I can learn a bit, swapping some information and post some nice comments.
I’m staying tuned!
