Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce myself to the forum. Some of you may already know me. I would like to thank my friend John72953 for his invitation to join the forum. I am also friends with Vinylphilemag (Rich Teer).

I have been involved with audio and music for a long time and have taken things fairly far. I use some really nice gear, some of which that is stock and also a lot that has been upgraded (modified).

I look forward to participating and sharing a love for this hobby.

Rich

Welcome Rich!

If I'm not mistaken we have a few pro-photo guys on here as well!

Any more news on the OMA NY's from Jonathan since we last spoke?

John

Hi John,

Jonathan Weiss and I will probably meet next week after June 1 to go to the Veneer shop to try to select the color. Jonathan thinks that the Cherry will go better with the other speakers, will look better, and will increase their value. I am tempted to bring my Nola Reference LCR speaker with me to the Veneer shop to make sure of the proper color match. Jonathan has to deliver some equipment to Art Dudley in upstate NY this week and I will be setting up and participating in my first Art Show of the year setting up Friday and running through the Memorial Day weekend in New Paltz, NY.

Jonathan has requested that I not discuss the speakers anymore until I take possession of them in the next number of weeks. Once I have the speakers I have permission to post photos and to further discuss them. Once I have them I will most definitely post about them including photos and my assessment of their performance which I am sure will be stellar. Also, I would presume that Jonathan will being making an announcement about the speakers and also the price information. Soon after delivery and installation though, Jonathan will come back to my home to take the room measurements and will make up Acoustic Room treatments to get the audio close to optimum performance.

Steve,

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. John speaks highly of you and I have mentioned I look forward to participating here on the forum.

Hi Rich,

Welcome aboard!

Myles

Greetings all. I'm new here and this is my first post. I was referred to this site by my friend John just yesterday. I registered under the name Fred since it happens to be my name and it was available for use. Posters from the bluray forum know me as BluRayFred. I'm a 2 channel analog fan and have a small dedicated listening room (man cave) in my home. As I get acclimated to this site I will post some pics, etc.

Fred: Good to have you aboard!
