How do you quiet down your laptop?

What are people doing to minimize anything other than music processing on their Apple and PC laptops?

I don't think you have to do anything to quiet them down wrt to audio. Just get a good isolating interface between it and your external DAC.

Sorry.... I thought he was talking about hard drive and fan noise.

I didn't think he meant that or I would have suggested putting a blanket on it .

I am talking about getting the operating system to "focus on" only on the music processing and shutting down any other programs or hardware that may be causing noise.
