How long are your listening sessions?

The reason I don’t use my main system for background music is that after my ARC, Wilson, and Burmester upgrades, every time I turned it on for background, within 10 or 15 minutes I found myself sitting down in the sweet spot, literally like a tractor beam had drawn me there due to the impossibility of escaping engagement.
Oh man, this hits so hard for me!

I have a dedicated room. It's the most comfortable room in my home. I have a board that I lay across the chair and put my laptop on when I'm writing which I do a lot of. Even if the stereo is at very low volume I find myself closing my eyes and taking breaks.

My stereo might be on for 10+ hours a day or 1-2 depending if I work in the music room or not. I sit with no distractions dedicated (not the quick breaks during the day) for 1-2 hours in the summer, 2-4 in winter. I do travel a lot so I often go 1 week without listening.

EDIT:
I set an alarm at night when listening, the alarm goes off, I finish the track or side of LP and that is it for the night. To easy to stay up all night.

I have to confess I am a bit confused… listening sessions  ? I only look at my stuff. Occasionally I take my iPad and make fun of people like mIKE who for some silly religious reason refuses to use capital letters or other people whose stuff looks different from mine. Don’t tell me I’ve been going at it wrong all these years:(?
