I bought a brisket that I'm hoping to put on the smoker tomorrow. Right now we are having some severe storms and I'm not going to try and combat the crappy weather and maintain a steady temperature in my smoker.
I know the feeling on smokin' during storms. Been there, done that!
Have used brisket a couple of times for chili, rarely use gnd beef. Rough cube then seared well, course braise was longer then a usual cut for a stew.
