and wondering if I can meet with WBF members some day during a training I am attending there, just PM me.

I had the privilege of visiting DaveyF here at San Diego last night, and had the chance to meet and have a nice dinner with his lovely family as well as having a meaningful listening session.

DaveyF taste for music is awesome, I consider myself an above-average Jazz collector, but DaveyF brought me down to my sad reality last night, great musical collection.

As for his audio system, just great! - I am quite familiar with the SF GH as well as to the Rowland 8 ( have had both), i really enjoyed the palpability, tonality and delicacy of DaveyF system, I am bringing back some homework and try to reach what I heard last night at his place.

Thanks DaveyF, an inmemorable evening!

Fernando, it was a real pleasure to have you over last night.
Please feel free to call me again once your wife arrives in town and we'll see
if we can get a babysitter and get together again.

Still looking to find a place where I can get good USB cables thou....

+1

Both are great dealers. However, I believe that Stereo Design only sells Transparent cables. I don't know about their digital cables, but I think their analog cables are among the best on the market.

Stereo Unlimited sells Kimber and Audioquest among others. I have it on VERY good authority the AQ Carbon is a killer USB cable.

I've known these guys over 25-yrs both are in SD and can serve you well:

I can devote up to $500 us if the cable is that good, I will connect a Mach2 Digital Server to a Stello USB/Coax converter that feeds an Havana DAC.

Way cool. If that is your budget, then the AQ Diamond is the ticket. I was told by a well known importer (highly regarded British DAC) that the Diamond was the best he had heard, cost no object. The Carbon gets you a good way there. He also mentioned the Nordost Blue Heaven for around 250.

Thanks to DaveyF, Puroagave and Andre for the heads-up on the Stereo Design dealer in San Diego, my wife and I had a great time there, nice and knowledgeable staff, great setups and service.

I have to admit that Wilson speakers are not in my top-5 picks, but the sound of the big Boulder 20000 series with the large Wilson speakers they have there really got me in!

Your welcome!

Our pleasure!

Yes, the guys at Stereo Design are great. I bought 75% of my system there..ARC, Transparent, Naim, etc.

No hard sell and very helpful.

Glad you enjoyed!
